Eastern Psychological Association
Each Spring, our SU Psych Club takes a weekend trip to visit the Eastern Psychological Association (EPA). EPA is a conference where psychologists, undergraduate students, graduate students and university faculty from up and down the east coast congregate to present their research to their peers; to discuss various findings across all disciplines; and to assimilate as much knowledge as possible. This conference is a remarkable opportunity for us as undergrads to experience what our field has to offer. It also presents the opportunity for some of our own members to pose their undergraduate research to fellow lovers of psychology. So far, many members of psych club have presented at EPA including two former presidents, some officers and other members.
The location of EPA changes each year between Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; and New York City, NY. EPA 2016 will be held in NY. For more information on the EPA conference itself, you can visit http://www.easternpsychological.org
